About CityTutor Classified
CityTutor Classified is an independent online platform where parents can publish tuition requirements for free and tutors can discover published home tuition opportunities. It is a noticeboard, not a tutoring agency.
What the website does
The platform gives a parent or guardian a simple way to describe the tuition they need: the class or grade, subjects, city and locality, home or online mode, timing, an optional budget, and any learning goals. The requirement is submitted without an account and at no cost. An administrator reviews it before it can appear publicly.
Tutors and teachers can search published requirements by city, locality, class, subject and tuition type, then apply through the site. Applications go only to the parent who posted that requirement, who can review, shortlist or decline them and contact the tutors they choose. Parent phone numbers are never published.
Why it exists
Finding tuition usually depends on word of mouth. A public requirement board makes that process more visible: parents describe the need once, and tutors who are a plausible fit can judge whether to make contact. The site does not sell leads, charge commissions, or promise that a match will happen.
How parents use it
- Post a tuition requirement with the class, subjects, locality and contact number.
- Wait for review. New submissions stay pending and are not public.
- When approved, the requirement appears in the listings. Tutors apply through the site, and the applications appear only in your private post-management area.
- Choose a tutor yourself. Lesson format, fees, schedule and safety arrangements are agreed directly between parent and tutor.
How tutors use it
- Browse open tuition requirements without registering or paying.
- Filter by city, locality, class, subject and home/online mode.
- Read the class, board notes, timing and budget before calling, then contact the parent only when the listing shares details.
- Never reuse or redistribute a parent’s contact information. Report a listing if it is inaccurate, outdated or suspicious.
Where we operate
The initial service focus is Delhi and Mumbai. Those two cities receive the first content and moderation attention. Requirements from other Indian cities are still accepted, reviewed and published in the same way.
A lack of listings for a locality means nothing has been approved there yet. We do not create placeholder listings or location pages to imply availability.
What we do not do
- We do not employ, place or guarantee a tutor.
- We do not verify qualifications, backgrounds or school affiliations.
- We do not charge parents or tutors, sell leads or take commissions.
- We do not create accounts or public tutor profiles.
- We do not publish a parent’s phone number, under any circumstances.

CityTutor Classified is an independent online project. This page does not represent a company registration, a founder biography, an office address, staff numbers, credentials, awards or business history. None of those details are claimed because they have not been provided by the site owner.
The service connects people through published requirements. It does not guarantee tutor placement, employment, a response to a requirement, a particular fee, or a successful learning outcome. Parents decide who teaches their child; tutors decide which requirements to pursue.
Requirement posters are designated as responsible for their own data-privacy choices and for the personal information they submit. The website administrator is not designated as responsible for those choices. Only publish details you have permission to share, and never include a child’s full name, address or identity documents.
